ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Target Group
Applications are invited from faculty members and doctoral students of institutions of higher learning and researchers with academic background in cultural studies, political theory, globalization studies and cultural policy. Undergraduates without a university degree will not be considered.
Pre-requisites
- Familiarity with course topics
The course is designed for participants with some prior knowledge of cultural studies and working knowledge of key research questions in the study of globalization and culture, this course will offer an advanced analysis of contemporary cultural theory, discourses concerning globalization and democracy, and current research and teaching methodologies in the humanities and social sciences. - Language requirements
The language of instruction is English; thus all applicants have to demonstrate a strong command of spoken and written English to be able to participate actively in discussions at seminars and workshops. (In some instances shortlisted applicants may be contacted for a telephone interview.)
